It has come to our attention that any parent that wants to volunteer for a school activity or chaperone a field trip must go onto the Duval County Website and apply. We are giving you the website and steps to follow so you can be approved before any activity comes up.

- Click on Apply to be a volunteer online

- Click on Get Started
- Fill out Application

Book Report Project Due on Thursday!
Students have had over two weeks to prepare for their book report. This is the final grade for the 1st marking period. We look forward to hearing the presentations this week!

Comparing, Contrasting, Observing, and Concluding
Why do these student look sad? Well, they followed the same science procedures, but did not see results.
It's amazing what can grow in a few short days. All you need is a little water, sunlight, nutrients from soil, and oxygen to see results!
Google Earth is Awesome!
Check out Google Earth! Kids can understand geography a lot more when they can view continents, countries, cities and states up close.

FCAT Explorer Is Ready!
FCAT Explorer is an excellent tool to help your child get ready for the FCAT. Each student has a sticker in their planner with a username and password. You can find helpful websites on the bottom of our blog. More sites will be added throughout the year. Destination Success and FCAT Explorer is what we are currently focusing on right now. Thanks!
